Transliteration

bravīmy etat klībavat tvāṁ yuddhād anyat kim icchasi | yotsye 'haṁ kauravasyārthe tavāśāsyo jayo mayā ||

Translation

Droṇa sprach: „Ich sage dir dies—fast, als fragte man einen kraftlosen Mann: Was begehrst du außer der Schlacht? Ich werde für die Sache der Kauravas kämpfen; doch der Sieg, den ich ersehne, ist der deine.“
