Kaurava–Pāṇḍava Readiness
प्रीतो&हं पुत्र युध्यस्व जयमाप्रुहि पाण्डव । यत् तेडभिलषितं चान्यत् तदवाप्रुहि संयुगे,पाण्डुनन्दन! पुत्र! अब मैं प्रसन्न हूँ और तुम्हें आज्ञा देता हूँ। तुम युद्ध करो और विजय पाओ। इसके सिवा और भी जो तुम्हारी अभिलाषा हो, वह इस युद्धभूमिमें प्राप्त करो
bhīṣma uvāca | prīto 'haṃ putra yudhyasva jayam āpruhi pāṇḍava | yat te 'bhilaṣitaṃ cānyat tad avāpruhi saṃyuge pāṇḍunandana ||
Bhīṣma sprach: „Mein Sohn, ich bin erfreut. Kämpfe, o Pāṇḍava, und erringe den Sieg. Und welchen anderen Wunsch du auch hegst, erfülle auch den hier, auf dem Schlachtfeld, o Freude der Linie Pāṇḍus.“
