Viśvarūpa-darśana (The Vision of the Universal Form) — महायोगेश्वरस्य विश्वरूपदर्शनम्
सम्बन्ध-- यदि ऐसी ही बात है तो मुझे क्या करना चाहिये, इस जिज्ञासापर भगवान् अजुनिको उसका कर्तव्य बतलाते हैं-- यत् करोषि यदश्रासि यज्जुहोषि ददासि यत् | यत्तपस्यसि कौन्तेय तत् कुरुष्व मदर्पणम्,हे अर्जुन! तू जो कर्म करता है, जो खाता है, जो हवन करता है, जो दान देता है और जो तप करता है,* वह सब मेरे अर्पण कर*
yat karoṣi yad aśnāsi yaj juhoṣi dadāsi yat | yat tapasyasi kaunteya tat kuruṣva mad-arpaṇam ||
Was immer du tust, was immer du isst, was immer du im Opfer darbringst, was immer du als Gabe spendest und welche Askese du auch auf dich nimmst—o Sohn der Kuntī—tue all dies als Darbringung an Mich.
अजुन उवाच
Consecrate every sphere of life—work, food, worship, charity, and discipline—to the Divine. This transforms ordinary action into yoga by removing ego-ownership and attachment to results, while still fulfilling one’s dharma.
In the battlefield dialogue, Arjuna seeks clarity on what he should do. Krishna answers by prescribing a practical orientation: Arjuna should continue acting, but with the inner attitude that all acts are offered to Krishna, aligning duty with devotion.
