Rāja-Vidyā Rāja-Guhya Yoga (राजविद्या राजगुह्य योग) — The Yoga of Royal Knowledge and Royal Secret
हजारों मनुष्योंमें कोई एक मेरी प्राप्तिके लिये यत्न करता हैः और उन यत्न करनेवाले योगियोंमें भी कोई एक मेरे परायण होकर मुझको तत्त्वसे अर्थात् यथार्थरूपसे जानता है ।।
bhūmir āpo 'nalo vāyuḥ khaṁ mano buddhir eva ca | ahaṅkāra itīyaṁ me bhinnā prakṛtir aṣṭadhā ||
Der erhabene Herr spricht: Unter Tausenden von Menschen bemüht sich kaum einer, Mich zu erreichen; und selbst unter den Yogis, die sich bemühen, erkennt kaum einer, ganz auf Mich ausgerichtet, Mich der Wahrheit nach, so wie Ich wirklich bin. Erde, Wasser, Feuer, Wind, Äther (Raum), Geist, Intellekt und Ich-Sinn (Ego) — dies ist Meine prakṛti, achtfach gegliedert. Diese achtfache Natur ist Meine niedere Natur (aparā), stofflich und unbeseelt; doch, o Starkarmiger, erkenne eine andere Natur von Mir, die höhere — lebendig im Wesen, bewusst — durch die diese ganze Welt getragen und erhalten wird.
