भीष्मपतनविषये धृतराष्ट्रस्य प्रश्नाः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Questions on Bhīṣma’s Fall

नातः कार्यतमं मन्ये रणे भीष्मस्य रक्षणात् । हन्याद् गुप्तो हासौ पार्थान् सोमकांश्व ससृंजयान्,“इस समय युद्धमें भीष्मजीकी रक्षासे बढ़कर दूसरा कोई कार्य मैं आवश्यक नहीं समझता हूँ; क्योंकि वे सुरक्षित रहें तो कुन्तीके पुत्रों, सोमकवंशियों तथा सूंजयोंको भी मार सकते हैं
Translation
„In diesem Augenblick halte ich keine Aufgabe für dringlicher als den Schutz Bhīṣmas im Kampf; denn wenn er sicher bewahrt wird, kann er die Söhne Kuntīs, ebenso die Somaka und die Śṛñjaya, erschlagen.“
