एतत् तु रोचतां वाक्य यदुक्तोडसि मयानघ । एतत् क्षेममहं मनन््ये तव चैव कुलस्यथ च,“अनघ! मैंने जो बातें तुमसे कही हैं, वे तुम्हें रचिकर प्रतीत हों। मैं संधिको ही तुम्हारे तथा कौरवकुलके लिये कल्याणकारी मानता हूँ
etat tu rocatāṃ vākyaṃ yad ukto ’si mayānagha | etat kṣemam ahaṃ manye tava caiva kulasya ca ||
Sañjaya sprach: „O Makelloser, mögen die Worte, die ich zu dir gesprochen habe, deinem Herzen wohlgefällig sein. Ich halte diesen Weg für den wahrhaft sicheren und heilsamen—für dich und für dein ganzes Geschlecht.“
