स्वागतं वो महाभागा: स्वागतं वो महारथा: । तुष्यामि दर्शनाच्चाहं युष्माकममरोपमा:,“महाभाग नरेशगण! आपलोगोंका स्वागत है। देवोपम महारथियो! आपका स्वागत है। मैं आपलोगोंके दर्शनसे बहुत संतुष्ट हूँ
svāgataṃ vo mahābhāgāḥ svāgataṃ vo mahārathāḥ | tuṣyāmi darśanāc cāhaṃ yuṣmākam amaropamāḥ ||
Sañjaya sprach: „Willkommen euch, ihr Edlen und Glückbegünstigten; willkommen euch, ihr großen Wagenkrieger. Schon euer Anblick erfüllt mich mit tiefer Genugtuung, denn an Kraft seid ihr den Göttern gleich.“
