मध्येन कुरुसैन्यानां द्रावयामास वाहिनीम्‌ । उस समय सेनाके अग्रभागमें खड़े हुए धनुर्धर अर्जुनने कौरव-सेनाके भीतर प्रवेश करके आपके सैनिकोंको खदेड़ना आरम्भ किया

Transliteration

madhyena kurusainyānāṃ drāvayāmāsa vāhinīm |

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: Arjuna, der Bogenschütze an der Spitze, drang in das Heer der Kauravas ein und begann, deine Krieger zurückzutreiben, indem er mitten durch die Formationen der Kurus schnitt. Der Vers betont den Schwung gerechter Entschlossenheit im Kampf: Disziplinierte Kunstfertigkeit, auf eine gewählte Pflicht gerichtet, kann selbst ein gewaltiges Heer zerstreuen.
