भीष्मस्य शरशय्या-प्राप्तिः

Bhīṣma’s Fall to the Arrow-Bed

उरःस्थेन बभौ तेन भीमसेन: प्रतापवान्‌

uraḥsthena babhau tena bhīmasenaḥ pratāpavān

Sañjaya sprach: Mit jenem (Waffenstoß/Aufprall) in der Brust steckend, strahlte der mächtige und tapfere Bhīmasena noch immer — sein Mut blieb ungeschmälert selbst unter direktem Angriff, ein Sinnbild der Standhaftigkeit in den brutalen Forderungen des Krieges.
