Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes dharma as correct practice: sacred acts should be performed by qualified Veda-knowers, following established rules (vidhi) and the training transmitted by virtuous teachers, so that power and kingship remain anchored in disciplined, ethical tradition.

Vaiśampāyana describes the sacrificial setting where expert priests oversee and execute the prescribed rites. They move around the ritual ground, ensuring every action is completed properly and in full accordance with Vedic procedure.
