Arjuna and Ulūpī: Explanation of Śānti and the Maṇipūra Resolution
स मोघं तस्य बाणौघं कृत्वा वानरकेतन: । शरान् मुमोच ज्वलितान् दीप्तास्यानिव पन्नगान्
sa moghaṁ tasya bāṇaughaṁ kṛtvā vānaraketanaḥ | śarān mumoca jvalitān dīptāsyān iva pannagān ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Nachdem er den Pfeilhagel seines Gegners wirkungslos gemacht hatte, ließ Arjuna—dessen Banner das Zeichen Hanumans trug—lodernde Geschosse fliegen, gleich Schlangen mit flammenden Mäulern.
