Transliteration

śṛṇvantu sarvabhūtāni sthāvarāṇi carāṇi ca | tvaṃ ca mātaryathā satyaṃ bravīmi bhujagottame ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Alle Wesen—die unbeweglichen wie die beweglichen—sollen hören. Und auch du, o Mutter, die Vornehmste unter den Schlangen: Ich sage dir die Wahrheit, so wie sie ist.“
