Āśvamedha-dīkṣā-nirdeśaḥ — Scheduling the Initiation and Assigning Protection for the Horse
पूज्यमाना: सम ते वीरा व्यरोचन्त विशाम्पते । प्रजानाथ! फिर विदुरका सम्मान करके वैश्यापुत्र युयुत्सुसे मिलकर उन सबके द्वारा सम्मानित होते हुए वीर पाण्डव बड़ी शोभा पा रहे थे
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
pūjyamānāḥ sama te vīrā vyarocanta viśāmpate |
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O Herr der Menschen, jene Helden, gebührend geehrt, erstrahlten in gleichem Glanz. Im Zusammenhang der Erzählung erscheint das Leuchten der Pāṇḍavas als sittliche Frucht des rechten Empfangens und Gewährens von Achtung—zumal in den Versöhnungen nach dem Streit—denn Ehrerbietung und pūjā stellen die soziale Harmonie wieder her und bekräftigen das Dharma.“
