Educational Q&A

Prosperity and political enjoyment are presented as dependent on rightful power used with both courage and sound judgment; the verse frames sovereignty as earned through valor guided by intelligence, and it underscores gratitude toward the agent who secured that order.

The narrator Vaiśampāyana voices a statement addressed to Yadunandana (Kṛṣṇa), acknowledging that the present enjoyment of the realm is due to Kṛṣṇa’s influence, and crediting him with the conquest/securement of the earth through prowess and strategic wisdom.
