तास्त्वां वयं प्रणम्यपेह याचामो मधुसूदन । कुलस्यास्य हितार्थ तं कुरु कल्याणमुत्तमम्‌

Transliteration

tās tvāṁ vayaṁ praṇamyāpeha yācāmo madhusūdana | kulasyāsya hitārthaṁ taṁ kuru kalyāṇam uttamam ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O Madhusūdana, wir verneigen uns hier vor dir und flehen dich an—wirke das höchste Heil für dieses Geschlecht. Zum Wohle des Hauses der Kuru erwecke jenes Kind wieder zum Leben und sichere ihm das erhabenste Wohlergehen.“
