Subhadrā’s Petition to Kṛṣṇa for the Revival of Parīkṣit (अभिमन्युज-प्राणरक्षा-प्रार्थना)
वासुदेव महाबाहो सुप्रजा देवकी त्वया । त्वं नो गति: प्रतिष्ठा च त्वदायत्तमिदं कुलम्
vāsudeva mahābāho suprajā devakī tvayā | tvaṃ no gatiḥ pratiṣṭhā ca tvadāyattam idaṃ kulam ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O Vāsudeva, du Mächtigarmiger! Durch dich gilt Devakī wahrhaft als gesegnet mit einem vortrefflichen Sohn. Du bist unsere Zuflucht und unser fester Halt; die Bewahrung und Fortdauer dieses Geschlechts liegt unter deinem Schutz.“
