ततस्त्वरितमायान्तीं ददर्श स्वां पितृष्वसाम् | क्रोशन्तीमभिधावेति वासुदेव॑ पुनः पुन:,वहाँ उन्होंने अपनी बुआ कुन्तीको बड़े वेगसे आती देखा, जो बारंबार उन्हींका नाम लेकर “वासुदेव! दौड़ो-दौड़ो" की पुकार मचा रही थी
tatas tvaritam āyantīṁ dadarśa svāṁ pitṛṣvasām | krośantīm abhidhāveti vāsudeva punaḥ punaḥ ||
Dann sah er seine Tante väterlicherseits, Kuntī, in großer Hast auf ihn zustürzen. Immer wieder rief sie schreiend: „Vāsudeva! Lauf—lauf!“—ein dringlicher Appell, der plötzliche Gefahr ankündigte und das moralische Gewicht sofortigen Schutzhandelns erkennen ließ.
