अभिमन्यो कुशलिनो मातुलास्ते महारथा: । कुशल चाब्रुवन् सर्वे त्वां युयुत्सुमिहागतम्,“अभिमन्यो! तुम्हारे सभी महारथी मामा सकुशल हैं और युद्धकी इच्छासे यहाँ आये हुए तुमसे उन सबने तुम्हारा कुशल-समाचार पूछा है
abhimanyo kuśalino mātulās te mahārathāḥ | kuśalaṃ cābruvan sarve tvāṃ yuyutsum ihāgatam ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Abhimanyu, deine Onkel mütterlicherseits — jene großen Wagenkrieger — sind wohlauf und in Sicherheit. Sie alle sind mit dem Wunsch zu kämpfen hierher gekommen und haben nach deinem Wohlergehen gefragt.“
