Marutta Seeks a Priest: Bṛhaspati’s Refusal and Nārada’s Guidance to Saṃvarta
Chapter 6
व्यास उवाच स तथेति प्रतिश्रुत्य पूजयित्वा च नारदम् | अभ्यनुज्ञाय राजर्षिययौ वाराणसीं पुरीम्,व्यासजी कहते हैं--राजन! यह सुनकर राजर्षि मरुत्तने “बहुत अच्छा" कहकर नारदजीकी भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की और उनसे जानेकी आज्ञा ले वे वाराणसीपुरीकी ओर चल दिये
vyāsa uvāca sa tatheti pratiśrutya pūjayitvā ca nāradam | abhyanugñāya rājarṣir yayau vārāṇasīṃ purīm ||
Vyāsa sprach: Als er dies vernommen hatte, stimmte der königliche Ṛṣi Marutta zu und sagte: „So sei es.“ Er erwies Nārada die gebührende Verehrung, nahm mit seiner Erlaubnis Abschied und brach dann zur Stadt Vārāṇasī auf.
