Marutta–Indra Rivalry and Bṛhaspati’s Priestly Refusal (मरुत्तेन्द्रस्पर्धा—बृहस्पतेः पौरोहित्यनिश्चयः)
क्व च तत् साम्प्रतं द्रव्यं भगवन्नवतिष्ठते । कथं च शक््यमस्माभिस्तदवाप्तुं तपोधन,भगवन! तपोधन! वह द्रव्य इस समय कहाँ है? और हम उसे किस तरह प्राप्त कर सकते हैं?
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | kva ca tat sāmprataṁ dravyaṁ bhagavann avatiṣṭhate | kathaṁ ca śakyam asmābhis tad avāptuṁ tapodhana ||
Yudhiṣṭhira sprach: „O Ehrwürdiger, wo befindet sich jener Reichtum jetzt? Und, o Schatz der Askese, wie kann es uns möglich sein, ihn zu erlangen?“
