Shloka 136

yad yad icchanti tat sarvaṁ bhajante vibhajanti ca |

Educational Q&A

Even in heavenly states, the mind can become conditioned by pleasure-born impressions; desire then drives both enjoyment and the distribution of what is gained. The verse implicitly cautions that fulfillment of desires does not end craving—it can reinforce it through saṁskāras.

Vāyudeva is describing the condition of beings who attain Svarga through yogic or meritorious power: their minds, influenced by enjoyment, pursue particular objects; whatever they wish for, they obtain and then share or allocate among themselves.
