धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas
मूर्धानं च तवाघ्रातुमिच्छामि मनुजाधिप । पाणिशभ्यां हि परिस्प्रष्टं प्रीणनं हि महन्मम,नरेश्वर! मैं तुम्हारा मस्तक सूँघना चाहता हूँ और अपने दोनों हाथोंसे तुम्हें स्पर्श करनेकी इच्छा रखता हूँ। इससे मुझे परम तृप्ति मिल रही है
mūrdhānaṃ ca tavāghrātum icchāmi manujādhipa | pāṇibhyāṃ hi parisparṣṭuṃ prīṇanaṃ hi mahan mama ||
Dhṛtarāṣṭra sprach: „O Herr der Menschen, ich wünsche, dein Haupt zu riechen und dich mit beiden Händen ganz zu berühren. Für mich ist dies eine große Quelle der Freude und tiefen Genugtuung.“
वैशम्पायन उवाच
