धृतराष्ट्रस्य युधिष्ठिरं प्रति व्यवहार-रक्षा-नियमनोपदेशः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Instruction on Administration, Punishment, and Daily Governance
याचितो य: पुरास्माभि: पश्य कालस्य पर्ययम् । “महाबाहो! सौभाग्यकी बात है कि आज राजा धृतराष्ट्र हमलोगोंसे धनकी याचना करते हैं। समयका उलट-फेर तो देखिये। पहले हमलोग जिनसे याचना करते थे, आज वे ही हमसे याचना करते हैं
yācito yaḥ purāsmābhiḥ paśya kālasya paryayam | mahābāho! saubhāgyakī bāta hai ki āja rājā dhṛtarāṣṭra hamalogoṃse dhanakī yācanā karate haiṃ | samayakā ulaṭa-phera to dekhiye | pahale hamaloga jinase yācanā karate the, āja ve hī hamase yācanā karate haiṃ |
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Sieh die Umkehr, die die Zeit bewirkt. Der, den wir einst mit Bitten aufsuchten—o du Starkarmiger—, heute bittet König Dhṛtarāṣṭra selbst uns um Reichtum. Sieh, wie das Glück sich wendet: Die, von denen wir früher Hilfe erbaten, suchen nun Hilfe bei uns.“
