नाभाग उवाच अनृतं भाषतु सदा सद्भिश्वैव विरुध्यतु । शुल्केन तु ददत्कन्यां यस्ते हरति पुष्करम्‌,नाभाग बोले--जिसने आपके कमल चुराये हों, उसे सदा झूठ बोलनेका, संतोंके साथ विरोध करनेका और कीमत लेकर कन्या बेचनेका पाप लगे

Nābhāga uvāca: anṛtaṁ bhāṣatu sadā sadbhiś caiva virudhyatu | śulkena tu dadat kanyāṁ yas te harati puṣkaram ||

Nābhāga sprach: „Möge der, der deinen Lotus gestohlen hat, dazu verdammt sein, stets Unwahrheit zu reden, mit den Tugendhaften in Zwietracht zu leben und die Sünde auf sich zu laden, eine Jungfrau gegen Entgelt wegzugeben, als verkaufe er sie.“
