Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
भीष्म उवाच अथ दृष्टवा परिव्राट् स तान् महर्षीन् शुना सह । अभिगम्य यथान्यायं पाणिस्पर्शमभथाचरत्,भीष्मजी कहते हैं--राजन्! कुत्तेसहित आये हुए संन्यासीने जब उन महर्षियोंको देखा, तब उनके पास आकर संन्यासकी मर्यादाकें अनुसार उनका हाथसे स्पर्श किया
bhīṣma uvāca atha dṛṣṭvā parivrāṭ sa tān maharṣīn śunā saha | abhigamya yathānyāyaṃ pāṇisparśam athācarat ||
Bhishma sagte: Dann, als der umherziehende Entsagende—von einem Hund begleitet—jene großen Seher erblickte, trat er zu ihnen und erwies ihnen nach der rechten asketischen Sitte Ehrfurcht, indem er ihre Hände berührte.
