Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

ततोडब्रुवन्‌ देवगणा: पितामहमुपेत्य वै । कृताञ्जलिपुटा: सर्वे शिरोभिरभिवन्द्य च,इस प्रकार विवाद उपस्थित होनेपर समस्त देवताओंने ब्रह्माजीके पास जा दोनों हाथ जोड़ मस्तक झुकाकर उनको प्रणाम किया और कहा--

tato 'bruvan devagaṇāḥ pitāmaham upetya vai | kṛtāñjalipuṭāḥ sarve śirobhir abhivandya ca ||

Als so der Streit entstand, traten alle Scharen der Götter zu Pitāmaha Brahmā. Mit gefalteten Händen in Ehrfurcht und gesenktem Haupt erwiesen sie ihm ihre Huldigung und sprachen dann—auf der Suche nach seiner Weisung, um Ordnung wiederherzustellen und das Dharma zu wahren.
