गोशकृन्माहात्म्य-प्रश्नः (On the Merit of Cow-Dung and the Abode of Śrī) / Inquiry into the Sanctity of Cow-Dung

एवं रात्रौ दिवा चापि समेषु विषमेषु च । महाभयेषु च नर: कीर्तयन्‌ मुच्यते भयात्‌

evaṁ rātrau divā cāpi sameṣu viṣameṣu ca | mahābhayeṣu ca naraḥ kīrtayan mucyate bhayāt ||

Bhishma sprach: „Ob bei Nacht oder bei Tag, in günstigen wie in widrigen Lagen, ja selbst wenn große Schrecken heraufziehen: Wer unablässig den Namen Gomātā (der heiligen Kuhmutter) preist und rezitiert, wird von der Furcht befreit.“
