प्रादेशमात्र भूमेस्तु यो दद्यादनुपस्कृतम्‌

prādeśamātra-bhūmes tu yo dadyād anupaskṛtam

Bhishma sprach: „Selbst wer nur ein kleines abgemessenes Stück Land gibt, schlicht und ohne Zier, vollbringt eine bedeutsame Gabe (dāna).“
