कुबेरमिव रक्षांसि शतक्रतुमिवामरा: । ज्ञातयस्त्वानुजीवन्तु सुहृदश्च परंतप
kubheram iva rakṣāṃsi śatakratum ivāmarāḥ | jñātayas tvānujīvantu suhṛdaś ca paraṃtapa ||
Bhīṣma sprach: „Mögen die Rākṣasas dir dienen, wie sie Kubera dienen; mögen die Unsterblichen dir dienen, wie sie Śatakratu (Indra) dienen. Mögen deine Verwandten von dir getragen leben, und mögen auch deine Wohlgesinnten an deiner Seite stehen, o Bezwinger der Feinde.“
