सर्वान्‌ दास्‍्याम्यशेषेण धन रत्नानि चैव हि । क्रियतां निखिलेनैतन्मा विचारय पार्थिव,“मैं सबको उनकी इच्छाके अनुसार धन और रत्न बाँटूगा। अतः: इन सबके लिये पूरा- पूरा प्रबन्ध कर लो। पृथ्वीनाथ! इसके लिये मनमें कोई विचार न करो”

sarvān dāsyāmy aśeṣeṇa dhana-ratnāni caiva hi | kriyatāṁ nikhilenaitat mā vicāraya pārthiva ||

Bhishma said: “I shall distribute, without remainder, wealth and jewels to everyone as is due. Therefore, make complete arrangements for all of this. O king, do not let any doubt or hesitation arise in your mind about it.”
