Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)
कीर्तन श्रवर्णं दान॑ दर्शनं चापि पार्थिव | गवां प्रशस्यते वीर सर्वपापहरं शिवम्
kīrtanaśravaṇaṁ dānaṁ darśanaṁ cāpi pārthiva | gavāṁ praśasyate vīra sarvapāpaharaṁ śivam ||
O König, o Held, die Schriften preisen diese Handlungen in Bezug auf Kühe in höchstem Maße: ihre Namen und Tugenden zu besingen, solches Lob zu hören, Kühe als Gabe zu spenden und sie auch nur zu erblicken. All dies gilt als glückverheißend, vermag jede Sünde zu tilgen und führt zum höchsten Heil.
