2 7 जा चत्वारिशो< ध्याय: भृगुवंशी विपुलके द्वारा योगबलसे गुरुपत्नीके शरीरमें प्रवेश करके उसकी रक्षा करना भीष्म उवाच एवमेव महाबाहो नात्र मिथ्यास्ति किंचन । यथा ब्रवीषि कौरव्य नारीं प्रति जनाधिप,भीष्मजीने कहा--महाबाहो! कुरुनन्दन! ऐसी ही बात है। नरेश्वर! नारियोंके सम्बन्धमें तुम जो कुछ कह रहे हो, उसमें तनिक भी मिथ्या नहीं है

Transliteration

Bhīṣma uvāca: evam eva mahābāho nātra mithyāsti kiñcana | yathā bravīṣi kauravya nārīṃ prati janādhipa ||

Translation

Bhīṣma sprach: „So ist es, o Starkarmiger; darin liegt nicht die geringste Unwahrheit. O Kaurava-Prinz, Herr der Menschen, alles, was du über Frauen sagst, ist gänzlich wahr.“
