Shloka 63

बले: कुम्भीनसे श्वैव सर्वास्ता योषितो विदु: । जैसे गौएँ नयी-नयी घास चरती हैं, उसी प्रकार ये नारियाँ नये-नये पुरुषको अपनाती रहती हैं। शम्बरासुरकी जो माया है तथा नमुचि, बलि और कुम्भीनसीकी जो मायाएँ हैं, उन सबको ये युवतियाँ जानती हैं

baleḥ kumbhīnasye śvaiva sarvāstā yoṣito viduḥ |

Yudhiṣṭhira sprach: „Man sagt, Frauen verstünden sich wohl auf die Künste der Täuschung, die mit Bali und Kumbhīnasa (und dergleichen) verbunden sind. Wie Kühe immerfort frisches Gras abweiden, so nehmen auch diese Frauen—so heißt es—stets neue Männer an.“
