Vipula’s Guru-Obedience, Divine Flowers, and the Peril of Others’ Oaths (विपुलोपाख्यानम्—पुष्पप्राप्तिः शपथ-प्रसङ्गश्च)

कथमासां नरा: सड़ू कुर्वते कुरुनन्दन । स्त्रियो वा केषु रज्यन्ते विरज्यन्ते च ता: पुन:,कुरुनन्दन! पुरुष क्यों इन स्त्रियोंका संग करते हैं? अथवा स्त्रियाँ भी किस निमित्तसे पुरुषोंमें अनुरक्त एवं विरक्त होती हैं

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | katham āsāṃ narāḥ saṅgaṃ kurvate kurunandana | striyo vā keṣu rajyante virajyante ca tāḥ punaḥ ||

Yudhiṣṭhira sprach: „O Wonne der Kurus, aus welchen Gründen suchen Männer die Gesellschaft der Frauen? Und aus welchem Anlass hängen Frauen den Männern an — und lösen sich dann wieder von ihnen?“
