अहिंसानिरता ये च ये च सत्यव्रता नरा: । दान्ता: शमपराश्वैव तान्‌ नमस्यामि केशव

Transliteration

ahiṁsā-niratā ye ca ye ca satya-vratā narāḥ | dāntāḥ śama-parāś caiva tān namasyāmi keśava

Translation

Nārada sprach: „O Keśava! Ich verneige mich vor jenen Männern, die der Gewaltlosigkeit (ahiṃsā) ergeben sind, die das Gelübde der Wahrheit tragen, die sich selbst zügeln und sich ganz dem inneren Frieden (śama) verschrieben haben.“
