प्रमद्वरायां तु रुरो: पुत्र: समुदपद्यत । शुनको नाम विदप्रर्षियस्य पुत्रो5थ शौनक:,रुससे प्रमद्वराके गर्भसे ब्रह्मर्षि शुनकका जन्म हुआ, जिनके पुत्र शौनक मुनि हैं

Transliteration

pramadvarāyāṁ tu ruroḥ putraḥ samudapadyata | śunako nāma vidarṣer asya putro 'tha śaunakaḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma sprach: „Von Pramadvarā zeugte Ruru einen Sohn namens Śunaka. Und von jenem Weisen Śunaka stammte (in der Nachfolge) Śaunaka ab.“
