Vītahavya’s Attainment of Brāhmaṇya (Vītahavya–Vipratva) | वीतहव्यस्य ब्राह्मण्यप्राप्तिः

तांश्ेज्जयति शत्रून् स तदा प्राप्नोति सद्गतिम् । अथ ते वै जयन्त्येनं तालाग्रादिव पात्यते
Translation
Bhishma sprach: „Besiegt er diese Feinde, so erlangt er die sadgati, das gute Ziel. Besiegen aber jene Feinde ihn, so wird er hinabgestürzt wie eine Frucht, die vom Wipfel einer Palme fällt.“
