Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
पूर्णमिन्दु यथा दृष्ट्वा नृणां दृष्टि: प्रसीदति । तथा त्रिपथगां दृष्टवा नृणां दृष्टि: प्रसीदति,जैसे पूर्ण चन्द्रमाका दर्शन करके मनुष्योंकी दृष्टि प्रसन्न हो जाती है, उसी तरह त्रिपथगा गंगाका दर्शन करके मनुष्योंके नेत्र आनन्दसे खिल उठते हैं
pūrṇam induṃ yathā dṛṣṭvā nṛṇāṃ dṛṣṭiḥ prasīdati | tathā tripathagāṃ dṛṣṭvā nṛṇāṃ dṛṣṭiḥ prasīdati ||
Wie der Anblick des Vollmondes den Blick und den Geist der Menschen beruhigt, so wird auch die Sicht erquicklich und gereinigt, wenn man die Tripathagā—die Gaṅgā—erblickt, deren bloße Gegenwart Ruhe und gutes Vorzeichen bringt.
