अप्रतिष्ठाक्ष ये केचिदर्धर्मशरणाश्ष ये । तेषां प्रतिष्ठा गड़ेह शरणं शर्म वर्म च,जगत्में जिनका कहीं आधार नहीं है; तथा जिन्होंने धर्मकी शरण नहीं ली है, उनका आधार और उन्हें शरण देनेवाली श्रीगड़ाजी ही हैं। वे ही उसका कल्याण करनेवाली तथा कवचकी भाँति उसे सुरक्षित रखनेवाली हैं
apratiṣṭhākṣa ye kecid adharma-śaraṇāś ca ye | teṣāṁ pratiṣṭhā gaṇeśaḥ śaraṇaṁ śarma varma ca ||
Diejenigen, die nirgends Halt haben, und diejenigen, die nicht Zuflucht zur Dharma genommen haben—für sie wird die Gaṅgā selbst zum festen Grund. Sie ist ihre Zuflucht, ihr Wohlergehen und ihr Frieden; und wie eine Rüstung schützt und bewahrt sie sie.
