Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
क्षमावन्तश्न धीराश्च धर्मकार्येषु चोत्थिता: | मड़ुलाचारसम्पन्ना: पुरुषा: स्वर्गगामिन:,जो क्षमावान्, धीर, धर्मकार्यके लिये उद्यत रहनेवाले और मांगलिक आचारसे सम्पन्न हैं, वे पुरुष भी स्वर्गगामी होते हैं
kṣamāvantaś ca dhīrāś ca dharmakāryeṣu cotthitāḥ | maṅgalācārasampannāḥ puruṣāḥ svargagāminaḥ ||
Bhīṣma sprach: Jene Männer, die verzeihend sind, im Mut standhaft, stets bereit, um der Dharma willen zu handeln, und mit glückverheißendem, diszipliniertem Wandel begabt—sie gelangen durch diese Tugenden auf den Weg zum Himmel.
