अहिंसयित्वा ब्रह्महत्याविधानम् / Brahmahatyā incurred without physical violence
अमानिन: सर्वसहा दृढार्था विजितेन्द्रिया: । सर्वभूतहिता मैत्रास्ते भ्यो दत्त महाफलम्
amāninaḥ sarvasahā dṛḍhārthā vijitendriyāḥ | sarvabhūtahitā maitrās tebhyo dattaṃ mahāphalam ||
Bhīṣma sprach: Wer frei ist von Selbstüberhebung, alle Mühsal erträgt, fest im Vorsatz steht, die Sinne bezwungen hat und in Freundschaft dem Wohl aller Wesen zugetan ist—dem wird eine große Frucht zuteil; eine Gabe an solche Menschen trägt höchsten Ertrag.
