Aṣṭāvakra–Strī-saṃvāda: Dhṛti, hospitality, and a dispute on autonomy

ततो वैश्रवणो राजा भगवन्तमुवाच ह । साग्र: संवत्सरो जातो विप्रेह तव पश्यत:,तब राजा वैश्रवण (कुबेर)-ने भगवान्‌ अष्टावक्रसे कहा--“विप्रवर! यहाँ नृत्य देखते हुए आपका एक वर्षसे कुछ अधिक समय व्यतीत हो गया है

tato vaiśravaṇo rājā bhagavantam uvāca ha | sāgraḥ saṃvatsaro jāto vipreha tava paśyataḥ ||

Dann wandte sich König Vaiśravaṇa (Kubera) an den ehrwürdigen Weisen: „O Brahmane, während du hier zugeschaut hast, ist ein volles Jahr—ja, sogar ein wenig mehr—vergangen.“
