Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the vast diversity of divine modes of existence—some beyond speech and mind—and points to a cosmological vision where purity and creative function define higher orders of beings.

Vāyu is describing extraordinary classes of devas and their subtle ways of sustenance and operation, as part of a broader enumeration/exposition of divine beings and cosmic principles in the Anuśāsana Parva.
