रुद्र-स्तवराजः (Rudra-Stavarāja) — Exempla of Śiva’s Boons and the Hymn’s Phalaśruti

एवमेतत्‌ पठन्ते य एकभक्‍्त्या तु शड्करम्‌ | या गति: सांख्ययोगानां व्रजन्त्येतां गतिं तदा

evam etat paṭhante ye ekabhaktyā tu śaṅkaram | yā gatiḥ sāṅkhyayogānāṁ vrajanty etāṁ gatiṁ tadā ||

So ist es. Wer diesen Hymnus mit einpünktiger Hingabe an Śaṅkara rezitiert, erlangt eben jenen höchsten Zustand, den die Kenner des Sāṅkhya und die Yogins erreichen.

Single-minded devotion to Śiva, expressed through faithful recitation of his hymn, can grant the same ultimate spiritual attainment that is otherwise reached through the demanding disciplines of Sāṅkhya (liberating knowledge) and Yoga (meditative practice).

Vāyudeva concludes with a result-statement (phalaśruti): he declares the spiritual fruit of reciting the Śiva-stotra—namely, that the devotee attains the highest goal comparable to that of accomplished Sāṅkhya-knowers and yogins.
