Shloka 45

स मां त्वमनुजानीहि कृष्ण मोक्ष्ये कलेवरम्‌ | त्वयाहं समनुज्ञातो गच्छेयं परमां गतिम्‌,श्रीकृष्ण! अब आप आज्ञा दीजिये, मैं इस शरीरका परित्याग करूँगा। आपकी आज्ञा मिलनेपर मुझे परम गतिकी प्राप्ति होगी

sa māṃ tvam anujānīhi kṛṣṇa mokṣye kalevaram | tvayāhaṃ samanujñāto gaccheyaṃ paramāṃ gatim ||

Bhīṣma sprach: „O Krishna, gewähre mir deine Erlaubnis. Nun will ich diesen Leib ablegen. Wenn du mir vollends gestattest, werde ich zum höchsten Zustand aufbrechen.“
