Anuśāsana-parva 17

स्वस्तिद: स्वस्तिभावश्च भागी भागकरो लघु: । उत्सड्रश्न महाड़श्व महागर्भपरायण:

svastidaḥ svastibhāvaś ca bhāgī bhāgakaro laghuḥ | utsaḍraśna mahāḍaśva mahāgarbhaparāyaṇaḥ ||

Vāyu-deva sprach: „Er ist der Spender des Wohlergehens und die Verkörperung des Glückverheißenden; er empfängt seinen rechtmäßigen Anteil am Opfer und teilt auch die Opfergaben zu. Schnell im Handeln, frei von Anhaftung, von mächtigen Gliedern und großer Kraft, ist er die höchste Zuflucht Hiraṇyagarbhas (des kosmischen Ursprungs).“
