सिद्धार्थकारी सिद्धार्थश्छन्दोव्याकरणोत्तर: । सिंहनाद: सिंहदंष्ट: सिंहग: सिंहवाहन:

Transliteration

siddhārthakārī siddhārthaś chandovyākaraṇottaraḥ | siṃhanādaḥ siṃhadamṣṭraḥ siṃhagaḥ siṃhavāhanaḥ ||

Translation

Vāyu-deva sprach: „Er ist der Vollender bereits errungener Ziele, selbst die Verkörperung der festgestellten Wahrheit; erhaben in den Disziplinen des vedischen Metrums und der Grammatik. Er brüllt wie ein Löwe, trägt löwengleiche Fangzähne, schreitet auf einem Löwen reitend dahin und hat den Löwen als sein Fahrzeug — Bilder, die eine unwiderstehliche Kraft verkünden, in den Dienst des rechten Zweckes gestellt.“
