ब्रा सप्तदशो< ध्याय: शिवसहस्रनामस्तोत्र और उसके पाठका फल वायुदेव उवाच ततः: स प्रयतो भूत्वा मम तात युधिष्ठिर । प्राउ्जलि: प्राह विप्रर्षिनामसंग्रहमादित:

vāyudeva uvāca | tataḥ sa prayato bhūtvā mama tāta yudhiṣṭhira | prāñjaliḥ prāha viprarṣīnām asaṅgraham āditaḥ ||

Vāyudeva sprach: „Dann, o lieber Yudhiṣṭhira, wurde er vollkommen gesammelt und gereinigt. Mit ehrfürchtig gefalteten Händen begann er, von Anfang an, das zusammengetragene Verzeichnis der Namen der Weisen zu rezitieren.“
