विमुज्चति न पुण्यात्मा शरण्य: शरणागतान्‌ । आयुरारोग्यमैश्वर्य वित्तं कामांश्व॒ पुष्कलान्‌

Transliteration

vimuñcati na puṇyātmā śaraṇyaḥ śaraṇāgatān | āyur ārogyam aiśvaryaṁ vittaṁ kāmāṁś ca puṣkalān ||

Translation

Vāyu sprach: „Ein Rechtschaffener, der wahrhaft Schutz gewährt, verlässt niemals jene, die bei ihm Zuflucht gesucht haben. Dem, der Zuflucht schenkt, werden langes Leben, Gesundheit, Herrschaft, Reichtum und reichliche Erfüllung würdiger Wünsche zuteil.“
