च्यवन उवाच पिबेतामश्चिनौ सोमं॑ भवद्धिः सहिताविमौ । उभावेतावपि सुरौ सूर्यपुत्रौ सुरेश्वर,च्यवन बोले--देवराज! अश्विनीकुमार भी सूर्यके पुत्र होनेके कारण देवता ही हैं। अतः ये आप सब लोगोंके साथ निश्चय ही सोमपान कर सकते हैं

Transliteration

Cyavana uvāca: pibetām aśvinau somaṁ bhavadbhiḥ sahitāv imau | ubhāv etāv api surau sūrya-putrau sureśvara ||

Translation

Cyavana sprach: „Lasst die beiden Aśvins den Soma zusammen mit euch trinken. Denn wahrlich, auch sie sind Götter — Söhne Sūryas. Darum, o Herr der Götter, sind sie vollauf berechtigt, am Soma mit den übrigen Gottheiten teilzuhaben.“
